This insurance must be up to date if the professional is to operate legally.<\/li><li><strong>Compliance with the code of ethics<\/strong>: Professionals must comply with a code of ethics set out in the Internal Security Code to ensure that the rights of individuals are respected. The code of ethics was introduced in 2012 by the CNAPS.<\/li><li><strong>Professional secrecy<\/strong>: Information gathered during missions must be treated as confidential.
